Kahu ʻEkolu

Rev. George Washington Pilipo was born in Holualoa, North Kona in 1828 and was ordained at Mokuaikaua Church in 1864. Rev. Pilipo was appointed pastor of Kaumakapili Church in 1871 and served for over three years. He was active in the political arena of that time.
